The Gedeb district, nestled in the fertile highlands of southern Ethiopia, is renowned for producing some of the country's most expressive coffees. At an altitude of 2,200 meters , the coffee trees benefit from rich volcanic soil , regular rainfall , and an ideal microclimate that promotes the slow ripening of the cherries—a guarantee of aromatic complexity.
Harvested primarily by hand , this batch involved over 150 local women , contributing to employment and high-quality selective picking. The coffee is produced ethically and with respect for the environment .
Aromatic profile: intense fruitiness and delicate floral notes
