Founded in 1904 , the Santa Felisa farm is now managed by Anabella Meneses , a renowned figure in Guatemala's specialty coffee scene. Located at the foot of the Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes, the farm benefits from rich volcanic soil , a stable microclimate , and controlled natural shade , perfect for cultivating exceptional varieties.
Anabella, an agricultural engineer and Q-Grader, combines scientific expertise with a sustainable approach . She cultivates her plots with exacting standards, respecting biodiversity, and adopts organic methods in harmony with the soil and the cycle of the seasons.
A precise washing process for a bright cup
The cherries, harvested at perfect ripeness, undergo a rigorously controlled washed fermentation, followed by slow drying on patios. This process highlights the natural elegance of the red Bourbon and the purity of the Acatenango terroir .
